- How to Collect and Share Personal Stories
Having the tools to readily tap into memories and anecdotes is not only fun, it's also good for business. And they bridge the gap between generations, between management and lower level employees, and among co-workers.This interactive workshop takes participants through a series of highly original activities which show them how to readily access their personal stories and memories and use them in the workplace.
- Using Silence to Sell

In this age of ailing attention spans, fueled by constant noise, silence captures attention like little else. This workshop will show participants how to use silences to create convincing presentations. Opening lines, couched with a few seconds of silence are riveting. Conversations which stop midstream, opening lines which start with a pause, rhythms that have built in voids—these are all age old tracks of the storyteller. But silence is also about listening, active listening. We’ll take participants through some activities which make them comfortable with the “non-response.” In addition, participants will learn how to edit written material, eliminating unnecessary facts and data, creating necessary pauses in lieu of words. - Storytelling 101 for the Business Professional
